Sarah Le Pichon

Biography

Sarah (she/her) teaches in the World Languages and Humanities Departments at a small, nontraditional school in Austin. She received her PhD from UT Austin, where she worked on non-conforming individuals and identity negotiations in epistolary correspondences. She has taught French at various levels, from pre-k to higher-education classrooms, since 2013. She continues to offer Trauma-Informed Teaching workshops for staff and faculty, as well as various inclusivity workshops, especially as relates to the second language classroom. She does not claim to be an expert on any topic, though, except for Stephen King :)

Life writing; trauma-informed pedagogy; critical pedagogy; neurodiverse schooling
